Data Use Statement

Connectics Consulting & Guiding Impact are committed to responsible, ethical, and secure use of data in all consulting, analytic, and educational engagements.

Purpose of Data Use
Data shared with us is used solely for the purposes outlined in written agreements, including program evaluation, data analysis, reporting, education, policy support, and workforce development. Data will not be used for unrelated purposes without prior written consent.

Types of Data
We may work with de-identified, limited, or sensitive datasets related to public health, newborn screening, rare diseases, or health systems. The type of data used and applicable protections will be defined at the start of each engagement.

Data Security and Access
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Access to data is limited to authorized individuals involved in the engagement.
Compliance
We comply with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and standards governing data privacy and security, including requirements relevant to public health data. When required, data use will be governed by a Data Use Agreement or similar contractual instrument.

Data Retention and Disposal
Data will be retained only for the duration necessary to fulfill contractual obligations or legal requirements. Upon completion of an engagement, data will be returned, securely destroyed, or archived in accordance with the terms of the agreement.

No Unauthorized Sharing
Client data will not be sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties without explicit authorization, except as required by law or agreed upon in writing.
